Vernita F. Westbrook, Co-Pastor
Vernita Westbrook serves along side her husband, Pastor Dennis A. Westbrook, as Co-Pastor of Greater Deliverance Tabernacle Holiness Church, an innovative and progressive ministry located in the inner-city of Memphis, TN.
Her spiritual foundation was established in the Church of God in Christ. She also gained much experience while working along side her mother, Bishop C.L. Ratliff, a Christian visionary and entrepreneur, in the establishing of Greater Deliverance Ministries. She also received formal ministry training through the Rhema Bible Training Center and the E. C. Warren Institute of Victory. With over 36 years of dedicated and sacrificial service in the work of the Lord, she brings a wealth of understanding and experience to the body of Christ and not only serves as Co-Pastor but also fulfills the roles of Church Administrator and Christian Education and Music Director.
As an ordained minister she possesses many gifts. She is a psalmist, teacher, preacher, and prophetess of God. Co-Pastor Vernita Westbrook is called and gifted to present the gospel with a blend of humor and energy that penetrates the heart and changes lives. Motivated by her love for people, her passion is focused on encouraging youth, empowering women, and strengthening family values.
Co-Pastor Vernita Westbrook believes that one of the most vital keys to success can be summed in this, "what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you".
